It takes around 90 mins in a water taxi from the airport to St Mark’s Square, so be mindful of that when you choose a hotel.

There is a bus from the airport to Venice which takes 30mins, but it brings you only to the railway terminus. It is then 30-40 min walk through the streets to St Mark’s square.
